The Rev. Cheryl Harris, Coordinator of the Boston Southwest Association for the last six years, officially stepped down at the Association’s annual meeting on January 16th, 2016.
Rev. Harris assumed the leadership of Boston Southwest at a time when the association had become largely dormant. During her tenure, Boston Southwest became an active association of churches, participating in the work of fellowship, ministry, and ordination to which our churches are called. Rev. Harris is currently the Pastor of First Baptist Church in Attleboro.
The Rev. Marlene Gil, TABCOM’s minister for congregational relations, announced that the Rev. Dr. Moreen P. Hughes has agreed to take on the Coordinator’s position. Rev. Hughes serves as the Minister to Women and Families at Concord Baptist Church in Milton.
