Boston Southwest Association announces its Fall Meeting

The topic of our Fall meeting is church finances. To cover such a broad topic, we will have three experts in each of three important areas:

• “Best Practices” for church finances — clergy compensation, sound bookkeeping, pledge tracking, and everything in between. Richard Wolf (TABCOM), Presenter
• Financial literacy for clergy — planning for retirement, taxes, and more. Rev. Miriam Chacon-Peralta (MMBB), Presenter
• Personal finances — managing consumer debt, supporting your church community through wise giving, good stewardship of your financial resources. Rev. Gerald Bell, Pastor and Financial Advisor, Presenter

Tentative schedule:

9:30 – 10:00 a.m. — Coffee and Registration
10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. — Worship and praise
10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — workshops
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. — lunch and fellowship
