Ordination Council for Ashley Anderson

Dear Colleagues in the Boston Southwest Association:
I am so pleased to invite your participation in the ordination council for Ms. Ashley Anderson. Ashley joined our church on December 6, 2015, and we granted her a pre-ordination license on January 10, 2016. Currently our church clerk, she has served on the church council, been highly involved in our social justice ministry and has shared her compassionate and prophetic preaching with us. Ashley did not grow up in a particular denomination and we are so blessed that God has led her to find a home here with the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts.
On Pentecost Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 3:00pm we will gather at 633 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain to hear and discuss Ashley’s ordination paper, which is attached, and trust that God’s Spririt will indeed move among us! Our congregation opens wide our doors to you as we work together to proclaim the good news of God’s love in our world.
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience to let us know if you or your church will be present. Each church in entitled to send a pastor and two delegates, and guests are always welcome. Thank you.
